We serve Elohim, the Creator who existed before the first dawn, before time even had a name. He is the grand architect who commands galaxies to burst forth from a single, joyful delight. He poured out the desert’s sand grain by grain. At His word, the massive mountains arise, the oceans bow before His majestic throne, and the ancient cedars sway simply because He breathes. He is the artist who masterfully paints fire across the dome of heaven every single morning.
Yet, the most breathtaking truth about this cosmic King is not just His infinite magnitude, but His radical intimacy. The same God who sets the planets spinning in their precise orbits stops to watch when a single sparrow falls. He is El Ro’i, the God who sees you.
He didn’t just create the universe to watch it from a distance. Instead, He chose to diffuse His Kingdom fully into us. He emptied heaven’s glory to live inside of our fragile hearts. The King of all creation now makes His home in you.
Because of His deep, indwelling presence, He is fully acquainted with every season of your soul.
In your journeying, He is actively walking with you; In your stillness, He is resting beside you; In your chaos, He is anchoring you; In your unending joy, He is celebrating with you.
He is at every step of your feet, being a light to your lamp. Therefore, you do not need to fear the unknown, and you do not need to grasp for control. You belong to the King who rules the cosmos and cradles your heart. And because He is your covenantally faithful God, you shall not lack.
(Matthew 10:29)
